The Pilot Year of AndeArte launches an exciting chapter in artistic exchange on Colombian soil. This inaugural year will focus on composer career advancement, bringing together four talented composers: two from the U.S. and two from Latin America, supported by one ensemble in residence. Together, they will engage in a unique platform for creative growth and cross-cultural collaboration. Your support directly funds residency scholarships, mentorship, guest speakers, our NYC concert series, and stipends for the ensemble in residence, giving emerging Latin American and visiting U.S. artists the chance to collaborate, create, and thrive in a culturally rich, immersive environment.

What Your Donation Can Supports:​​

Board & Lodging
Covers all expenses related to providing meals and accommodations for the artists participating in the residency. It includes housing, hotel stays, and daily meals to ensure artists have comfortable and supportive living arrangements during their time in Subachoque, Colombia.
Workshops & Online Mentorships
Designed to engage the local community through interactive workshops and provide ongoing support and guidance to artists via online mentorship, fostering connection, learning, and artistic growth beyond the residency.
Concert Series in NYC
Covers production, programming, and logistical costs for the multiple events we present throughout New York City as part of the AndeArte concert series.

Public Showcase
A special event in Bogotá, where the works created during the residency are presented to the community, offering artists an opportunity to share their process, connect with audiences, and celebrate creative achievements.
Artist Stipends and Travel Assistance
Financial support provided to artists to cover travel expenses and offer stipends, helping ensure accessibility and enabling them to fully participate in the residency.
Facility maintenance and utilities
Your support also helps cover essential facility costs, including maintenance and daily expenses of the residency house in Subachoque—such as utilities, cleaning, repairs, and upkeep—to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for our artists.
